Have numerous pods that overflow hot water and run down the side of the machine. I barely get 1/2 cup of coffee using these pods. The pods I use are Caffee Grande Intenso, Caffee Americano. From the same box you may get good ones and ones where the machine struggles to put water through the pod ending up with a mess. In my opinion these pods are defective. This Video demonstrates how the skamping technique can achive a better pour from a Nespresso machine. Place the pod in the machine, press pour, listen for the pop or the first drops of coffee to come out, stop the pour by pressing the pour button again, wait 3 seconds and press pour again. Using the nice repair instructions on www.kaffee-welt.net (a page in german, requires login to download the instructional pdfs) I was able to open a Coffee Machine from Delonghi (model and make Magnifica ESAM 3200S) to further inspect why 2 thirds of the coffee don't make it into my coffee mug. Instead the 2 thirds or more leak as pure water sideways within the machine, either into the drip pan or even worse, below the machine. Does the thermal block need replacement or do I get away with changing some membrans? Could something else be the issue? Seeking help on this issue, Thank you. The way I brew a double espresso on the cheap delonghi espresso machine. It isn't great but I'm trying to get the best out of it before upgrading. Notice there is a problem as when the boiler switches off (and pressure is highest) there is water leaking from the brew head. Not sure which seal this is, any ideas would be helpful.
